1912. Fondo carrate Balsamic Vinegar of Modena takes it s name from one of the five farms of the Elsa estate. This fine Balsamic Vinegar of Modena is now PGI designated. It is produced from the must of select grapes such as Lambrusco, Salamino, Trebbiano, Ancellotta, Fortana, Albana and Sangiovese. This vinegar is then matured and refined through the aging process in small hardwood casks, imparting a balanced sweet yet sour taste of fruit with an aromatic and rich velvety finish.
